Rochester 1 barrel carburetor, series B, BC & BV. Round shaft accelerator pump. Includes a free electronic carburetor manual.

Note: If you have a round shaft and a leather cup, you'll need to order a complete pump in addition to the kit.

Pump cup: ID = 5/8" OD = .367"

TECHNICAL:

This kit covers the round shaft pump carbs only, if you need the flat shaft pump kit use K1144
If you do not know which pump you have, we offer a kit that covers both types, K7037
If you have a round shaft and a leather cup, you'll need to order a complete pump in addition to the kit.
Polish your pump well so that the cup glides smoothly.
Apply two drops of oil to the pump cup before installing, DO NOT soak the pump.
Ethanol will leave deposits in the passages. Run thin wire through all of the passages.
A handful of carburetor numbers (7013596, 7025638, 7025662, 7028149) require this float bowl gasket not normally included in the kit. You can add the gasket using the add on option above.

Excellent kit

The kit had all the critical components to rebuild by Rochester BV. Included instructions, spec sheets, etc were extremely helpful. One thing to note, it is critical that you level the bowl surfaces before rebuilding. They are notorious for warping....just lay a flat mild file and gingerly go back and forth. You will see the high spots right away.

Leaky inlet gaskets

Helpful website, very complete kits, fast shipping. The only problem was the red paper inlet filter gaskets would not stop weeping (three carbs). Replacing with coated metal washers stopped the problem. Would definitely buy from in the future.
