READ BEFORE ORDERING: All Holley 4000 Teapot carburetors were manufactured with accelerator pumps that use replaceable rubber cups. For a while Standard Motor Company was selling replacement accelerator pumps with leather cups. If your carburetor has a leather cup pump, the replacement cup in our rebuild kit will not work. You need to find a rubber cup pump for your carburetor before rebuilding.

TECHNICAL:

Parts illustrated in the picture are included in this kit.
Apply 2 dabs of lithium grease to the pump cup.
Your carburetor may have a seat that pushes in rather than threading, this seat will work in its place. This replacement seat is longer and won't sit as deep into the orifice, that's normal. Leave the spring out and reinstall with the threaded cap, you're good to go.

Kit for Holley 4000 was ok. O rings and washers for secondary tubes were too big, so used old washers and got correct o rings from parts store. Would be nice to include gasket for air cleaner. Quick shipping.

came to the country very quickly sadly my country took so long ... I've only just fitted it ... and amazed its beautiful and my old girl is ticking over nicely now and no leaks ! prob be ordering another one very soon just so I have spares ! thanks Brad

I am very happy with the end result and that it is a smoothly running engine due to a freshly rebuilt carburetor. I wish there had been three small check balls supplied instead of the two and that there was a large check ball supplied. While my carb is working well, I would like to find a replacement accelerator pump as the old one was ground on by some previous mechanic and the fit of the cup is precarious.
