FLOAT: Make sure your float is a single hinge two pontoon float versus two seperate pontoons on a split hinge. The FL1023 will not replace the split hinge floats. Most WCD carburetors use the single hinge float but some were modified for split hinges.

Check ball & retainer go in the bottom of the pump well.

Polish the pump well with crocus cloth to give the pump a smooth ride.
