Rochester Quadrajet 4 Barrel Carburetor Rebuild Kit K4249

I've been rebuilding carbs since 1970. Hard to find many of the kits I need, but I highly recommend the kits from Mikes. The quality was superb, I was very pleased to find first class components.

The carb kit had everything i needed in it. but, when i went to change the pump seal & round spring, the plastic tabs broke. i had to measure & get a pump kit & after talking to a wonderful woman at your buisness, we figured out the right part. after 3 tries, the chevelle roared to life. THANK YOU so very much for your products & customer service.

Overall this is a good quality kit. I gave it 4 stars as the air-horn gasket seemed a little thin considering most q-jets warp. I'd like to emphasize double checking the part number on the carb body. What I thought was a miss stamped 8 was actually a 3 and I ended up with $40 worth of carb parts that I can't use. Also, if possible, take the carb apart and take note of the gasket configuration in order to get the proper kit - there are many variations.

I wanted to ensure that I had the ethanol compatible accelerator pump. Ordering from elsewhere I read the reviews and it said it was a hit and miss I did not want to take that chance so I decided to go to the experts. The price and customer service were excellent.
