Apply 2 dabs of lithium grease to the pump cup.
Parts illustrated are included in this kit.
Avoid pressure on needle & seat when adjusting float.
Do not adjust float by bending pontoon.
May include extra parts. Use the best fitting.
Polish the pump bore with crocus cloth, or 2000+ grit sand paper.

Carter AFB 9000 series carburetor kit

Just finished rebuilding my carburetor. The truck runs great.I have not rebuilt a four barrel carburetor in about eighteen years. This is a very complete and good quality kit with clear instructions. Mikes utube video's were also very helpful. Thanks Zeb Darrah

AFB 9000 Rebuild kit rocks!

Had a leaking AFB9000 and decided to rebuild instead of replace. I was a bit hesitant, since I had heard horror stories of rebuilds gone wrong. Ordered the kit and it couldn't have been simpler! The kit had everything needed and the instructions were simple. The online videos helped too! Popped it back on the engine and it runs great with no leaks! Highly recommend Mike's carburetor parts and will be back when my next project needs rebuilding.

Purchased 2 rebuild kits for my AFB's 9605S. Kit is of excellent quality. Only comment is wish there were a couple of springs and filters not included but compared to other kits Mike's is the best value.

9635 AVB Carburetor

Ordered the AFB 9000 rebuild kit for my Carter carburetor and it worked great! Very good quality components, everything fit the way it is supposed to fit, and the price was reasonable. A good selling point for me was the youtube video showing Mike rebuilding the exact same carburetor, he makes it seem easy.

CARTER AFB 9000 SERIES CARBURETOR KIT

This kit had everything I needed to rebuild my carb. The only thing is I wish the pictures were more clear. I still need to fine tune the carb but I will have to revert to youtube to see how thats done.
