Avanti 1964 R-1 289 V8 Engine

This is exactly what I needed to rebuild my carburetor, for an engine that hasn't run in 20 years. I later find out that my engine had a thick 'spacer' that I had to account for, and thankfully this particular kit came with enough gaskets to snug between all the hard surfaces, and more importantly!, nothing has leaked out since then! I only used about 80% of the parts available in the kit, and all seems to be working. The only thing I could suggest or wish* for the one gasket that sits between the top & bottom layers of the carburetor was a little thicker or stronger, because that was quite delicate and ripped in a couple places, but I managed to still make it work. Aside from that, no complaints! Thank you. :-)
