TECHNICAL:

FLOAT: most, but not all, 847 carburetors use the FL16R5 replacement float. If you do not see this float listed on your carburetor number below, compare your existing float before ordering to be sure.

The 847 repair kit was just what I needed to fix the carb on my 1950 Ford F1 6cy. The kit shipped quick and arrived in good condition. Came with a single instruction sheet full of good information on what's what in the kit and how to adjust the float. I've never played with a carb before and i'm amateur at best as a mechanic. I was quickly and easily able to replace the seals and adjust the float with what Mike's provided. I really enjoyed driving the truck afterward!

Kit came with all the required parts and they were high quality. Was able to rebuild my carb and the truck runs better than ever! Be sure to watch the video as there were a few tricks I leaned from watching the video.
