Carburetor rebuild for 65 Rivi.

Ordered the kit from Mikes Carburetor for a Rochester $ Jet rebuild and was very satisfied to all the parts included in the kit. There were several gaskets in the kit for you to choose from for the best fit. All parts are of good =quality. Would definately order from again.

Rochester 4 Jet rebuild success

I used this kit to rebuild by 64 Buick Electra with the 401 and the Rochester 4Jet. I also had rebuilt it before with a cheaper kit from hygrade and here are the major differences making Mike's kit far better: 1. His kit came with the accel pump springs (both) which is what broke on mine. The cheap kit did not. 2. The gasket thickness and quality was much better. The cheap kit carb mounting gasket was damaged after one use. 3. Instructions!! The cheap kit did not come with a master list of float settings and linkage position, but to my suprise Mike's kit did. Sure it was hard to read due to what looks like 1000's of copies of copies, but the detail was there. Far better than me searching through my manual! This made the kit well-worth it. 4. Extra parts where you need extra parts. All things considered the ONLY kit to buy if you are rebuilding a Rochester 4Jet. Randy

Exactly what I needed

I purchased this kit for a Rochester 4jet on a 1957 Buick Super. Everything fit well. I had to make a small modification to the gasket between throttle body and fuel bowl, just a single 3/8” hole to match the cutout of the original. Not bad for something 61+ years old. There was one large red flat o-ring that I couldn’t find a use for not any indication what is was for. Other than that, all parts fit, adjustments made to spec, and it works great on the bench. Waiting for a new ceramic fuel filter and gasket though before I run it on the car, not expecting any problems. As a mechanic of 12+ years I can highly recommend this kit from Mike’s over any other if you want a simple all in one kit that will get your car running again with good quality parts. They all look hand picked in the bag. Couldn’t be happier

Very happy

Hi. I am very happy with the carburetor parts. I have two Rochester carburetors. I get both to work with the new kit. I mounted them last week and the quality is very good. My 62 Invicta seems to be a different car. Now the engine works like it should be. Best regards and many thanks from Germany.

Master Auto Tech

I have been out of the field for almost 15 years so it came as a surprise that I could even find a kit for my friends 1965 Buick Wildcat with a Rochester 4 jet carb. But Mike's had the kit and at a fair a price too. The kit was top notch too. Really an excellent kit with really good parts. I am very happy that I found Mike's Carburetor Parts. If I ever do another rebuild you can bet that I will hit Mike up for the kit. Plus the service was great. My part was out the door and on the way to me the next day.
