Rochester 2 Jet, 4 Jet Carburetor Power Valve

I needed a power valve similar to this but with a 1/8" smooth shoulder at the end. I was able to remove a couple threads from the end to create the shoulder. This was for a Mercruiser 120 (2.5L Chevy Iron Duke) with Rochester 2B carb. I installed a couple washers and a brass nut onto the valve so only a couple threads were exposed. Filed off those threads, removed brass nut (this also chased the remaining threads on the valve), removed the washers and I had the exact power valve I needed. Works perfect. I wish I could add pics to my review to show how easy and efficient the process was.

This part was not made for a marine application which was stated on the website but Mike told how it could be modified for such. I did this and it worked great. Great website and better service.

I destroyed the original power valve removing it from the 40+ year old carb. This replacement part was high quality, probably better than OEM! Perfect reproduction.
