I rebuilt my 6280 carburetor using this repair kit and I found all the parts included had a proper fit while re-assembling the unit. These 6280 carbs aren't the greatest units to start out, so I wasn't expecting too much in the way of performance upgrade. However, I was pleasantly surprised after my second test drive in my truck. The directions were easy enough to understand, although they are a bit lacking. No menrion of the idle screws, which are like the most important area to address any rough running and\or surgung behavior once you put the carb back on ur engine. Once I set the idle jet screws to 1.5 turns out from loosely seated, the truck ran much better. I just wish that damned solenoid in there was available... I've searched low and hi for em and it's clear they're not available.
