Not all 2 Jet marine carburetor use a power valve, nor do they have emulsion tubes.

Polish the accelerator pump well with crocus cloth. Ethanol gas has much less lubrication these days and your accelerator pump can fail due to this.

Mike's video on the disassembly and assembly were invaluable. Couple the videos with the rebuild kit instructions, you have a complete product for the novice.

I have a140 mercruiser stern drive that needed the Rochester G2c carb rebuilt. I found Mikes web site and watched his youtube vids on tare down and rebuild of a Rochester G2c carb. These vids where a great help. I got his Rochester G2c Marine Carb kit. His videos made the rebuild a very easy job. This kit was very complete at a very good price.

Good Kit I like the extra gaskets ( Just in case ) I do wish that it would have come with the idle adjusting needle's I found one needle that was bent . Now I have to re-order. But over all service and shipment was fast.

I enjoyed the youtube video. It was very helpful. The part kit seemed to be of good quality. My concerns are: In the video, you showed a new power valve assy and a diagram showing the screw tightening sequence. Neither were in the kit. My old valve got beat up getting it out, but I saved it.

Here's the Deal

Thank's Mike, Here's the Deal, I watched the video, ordered the part, took apart my first Carburetor, watched the video again, part my first Carburetor back together, primed it a few times, pow it' runs, adjusted the idle screws and pow, i'm on the lake tomorrow. thank's Mike I'll let you know how the test drive comes out.
