- First make sure that the air valve is aligned when closed, with the valve edges parallel with the inner walls of the valve opening in the fuel bowl cover.
- Next, open the air valve against its stop and check for the specified gap between the valve edge and the outer wall of the primary air horn section. The gap is in the Thermoquad Instruction Sheets
- Bend the notched corners section of the air valve to adjust the opening if needed.
