Carter Carburetor Choke Thermostat TH1025

Product arrived intact, on time, as advertised. would have preferred marks on housing ( like oem) for initial setting.

Hi Mike's Carburetor, I'm working on a 1937 Packard which has a Carter WDO 366-A carburetor. The best fit choke spring looked to be the Carter AFB so I ordered it and installed the spring only. This is a perfect fit! Starts and runs well. Thank you for the pictures and dimensions which helped me select a close replacement.

I have not installed the item "yet," but I see no reason why it should not work. The original was bad, and the hand choke option did not work because there was no way to make the cable directly move the choke plate - so - by using the original part, I am hoping to be back in business. (1973, Jeep, CJ5 with 258 c.i. engine). At worst, it will need to be adjusted.

I had to remove the choke spring and reverse it to work in my particular application, but it works fine. It may take a few cold starts to get the adjustment dialed in, but it'll work fine once done.
