Parts worked

1952 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith has 2 barrel Stromberg carb. Went in a second time and replaced the needle and seat from Mike's. Raised the floats, flattened the fork resting on the needle and seat, checked the height of the fuel in the bowl, good. No more gas escaping from vent hole when at operating temperature

Restorer/Rebuilder

I've been rebuilding carbs for 45 years and I wish I'd found this needle and seat design some time ago. Its extremely well and its somewhat impervious to small particle wear which usually scrubs the Viton coating found on modern float needles. Thanks for giving us a solution to a common problem.
