Rochester 2 Jet, 2 barrel & Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor choke thermostat.

This is for the integral (mounted on the carburetor), hot air choke type. New, currently being produced. Fits 2 jet and Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetors. If you are not sure about the fit, compare the diameter of the thermostat and the direction of the winding.

SPECS:

Looking at coil = rotates clockwise when heated (choke opens / lean)
Choke shaft = rotates counter-clockwise when heated (choke opens/lean)
Choke shaft = rotates clockwise to close (choke closes/rich)
Cap diameter = 2.25"

To get the correct thermostat verify the carb number.

APPLICATIONS:

You must match your carburetor number to get the correct part.

Good quality, nice part. I haven't installed it yet. It's cold here. I got a carb kit from you also. It was very good. This is for a 57 chevy that I inherited. I know a small block chevy is supposed to be very easy but I can't figure this one out. I work on Packards and Mercedes and Fords but this Chevy has me bumfuddled. Thanks Joe

Me.

I removed the spring from the plastic cover and flipped it around and put it back into my metal original housing. Works great. I noticed the new spring has a lot more coils that my 1958 Chevy 2gc had. Thanks for your video too.stay safe.
