Description

Rochester Quadrajet power piston metering adjustment screw (APT). Used on 1976 and later model Quadrajets with internal adjustable part throttle.

NOTE: not for use in electronic feedback carburetors with mixture control solenoid

TECHNICAL:

Before removing the screw, turn it all the way in clockwise and count the number of turns as you go. This is the same setting you should use when reinstalling or replacing.

If the screw has already been removed and you don't know the setting, turn it all the way in just until it seats, then back it out 3.5 turns
