Before removing any Cadillac fuel injector component, the fuel pressure should be relieved, or damage to you, or the engine can result.
- Remove the gas cap to relieve any pressure in the gas tank.
- On a 4.6L the intake manifold service cover should be removed.
- At the end of the fuel rail you will see a Schrader valve.
- Hook up a fuel pump test gauge that includes a bleed valve.
- Relieve pressure through this valve into a suitable container.
