Relieving Fuel Pressure. Do this before removing injectors, or the fuel pressure regulator.
- Peel back the carpet on the left side of the trunk.
- Find the 2 nuts with the wires running between them.
- Remove the 2 nuts and pull out the fuel inertia switch.
- Unplug the switch.
- Run the engine until it stops. Crank the engine for a few seconds.
- The fuel pressure is now relieved.
- Re plug the switch and re install with the 2 nuts you removed.
