This is a great filter. It has a screen on the inside to catch any debris, but lets gas flow through freely. I always hate buying a $3 piece and getting charged $10 for shipping, but Mike keeps shipping prices minimal so buying single parts is feasible. Though the shipping was cheap it was very fast. Again, great part for my 85 Motorcraft 2bbl carb. (It did not go completely flush with the carb when screwed in, but when I used plumbing tape there was no leak.)

After purchasing a MotoCraft brand fuel filter made in China that leaked at the crimped area, Mikes filters are obviously better made by comparison side by side for such a small item. Mikes Filter isn’t leaking at the crimped area and I’m worry free driving now. 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 under 45k miles and don’t need a fire under the hood.
