EFE Heater Gasket

APPLICATION:

General Motors 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 2.8L All Models with Carb

REPLACES OE:

10174801, 10174802, 10174803, 14033194, 14059353, 14059380

Purpose: The purpose of the EFE heater is to aid with vaporization of fuel in cold conditions and reduce exhaust emissions by running a few minutes to allow for leaner choke calibration.

Location: EFE Heater is located between the throttle body of the carburetor and the intake manifold

Symptoms of failure: poor driveability and fuel economy and/or failure to turn off after reaching operating temperature.

Recommended service: replace when gasket becomes non-functional
