This is a way to convert your automatic choke to an electric choke. Everything you need, including instructions are included.

Worth every penny

Am I ever glad I finally made upgrade from my divorced choke , easy install , instantly a much more efficient warm up , the fast idle steps down like its suppose to , I like the fact that it has the temp sensor included , big plus compared to the electric units that were original to later carbs , installed in a breeze to my 77 Chevy c20 ,

Works on Mercruiser 260

Installed this on a mercruiser 260. The kit had everything I needed. Hardest part was removing the rusted out screw on the original choke spring and finding 12v for the power. I did end up finding some wiring diagrams and found one of the two wires (probably for the stator) has a keyed 12v power. Works great and very easily adjustable.

Mounts up just like info supplied. Remove the old unit off manifold,mount new unit,wire in to wiper and the way you go!

Life/Safety Tech.

On a 1986 marine Quadrajet the ignition system is the only source of key-on power. I picked a Bosch waterproof relay and added a 10 amp inline fuse off the battery positive. It works great. Ignore the etched scale setting. Mine ended up a half inch past the markings on the rich side to work properly.
