Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor electric choke conversion kit.

Converts a divorced, mounted in the intake manifold choke to an electric choke.

SPECS:

Looking at coil = rotates clockwise when heated (choke opens / lean)
Choke shaft = rotates counter-clockwise when heated (choke opens/lean)
Choke shaft = rotates clockwise to close (choke closes/rich)

Electric choke conversion kit for:

Cadillac 1972 472, 500 R4 (7042091)

Cadillac 1971 472, 500 R4 (7038254)

Cadillac 1970 472, 500 R4 (7038254)

Due to technical reasons, electric choke kits are matched using the engine application. It is assumed that the carburetor, intake manifold and engine are original to the vehicle.

Examples of miss match:

Carburetor has been switched out.

The carburetor has been re-manufactured.

A performance intake manifold has been installed. This is OK if the manifold is a direct replacement.

Spacers have been added to the carburetor base - Divorced chokes only.

APPLICATIONS:

You must match your carburetor number to get the correct part.

Fork lift operator

very nice and works nicely as well. we did have a mix up with delivery of the wrong product but they quickly rectified the situation. we are all human and mistakes are made but i was very happy with the way they handled the situation. THUMBS UP

Service manager

This is a a great piece...had a customers old Caddy with the wrong intake and no heat for the choke. Parts a patience were a little thin. This was the perfect solution and works like a charm. The design and thought put into it are A-1. From an old school wrench..Hats off to you. If you need something these are the guys.
