Jet Mixup

In disassembling the BXOV-2 carburetor, I mixed up the Jet Pump By Pass and the Jet Power By -Pass. One jet is marked 54 & the other is marked 56. Can you please tell me in what location these jets go?

Okay: the pieces you describe are actually valves (as opposed to jets). The acc. pump discharge valve is actuated by hydraulic pressure for the pump and the power valve is actuated by mechanical pressure from the metering piston. As such, the easiest way to identify them is by the length of the valve stem: recessed stem = acc. pump valve, protruding stem = power valve. The power valve is the cleaner-looking item (on left with threads pointed downward) in this illustration:
