4300 4 barrel plastic float. 1969-74 Ford products. Fits the 4300 only, NOT the 4350 and cannot be substituted. These are not nitrophyl, but they are made from a type of plastic.

WARNING! The tendency is to adjust the float by bending the pontoons. This will damage the seal and cause a leak. NO Warranty will be given under this condition.

Looks and fit like the original float in my '69 autolite carburetor. Delivery was timely.

1973 Mach 1 351CJ

Float

I rebuilt the Autolite 4300 with all new parts except for the float. I set up the old existing float to spec but the carb over filled the float bowl. Checked the fuel pump pressure and it was at about 4.5 psi. Purchased this new float, left it set as directed on the package and installed it. The new float worked like it should. Fuel bowl did not overflow and the car ran great. Excellent product.
