The main discharge tube channels fuel from the main metering system into the carburetor’s air stream. It plays a key role in managing fuel flow under load and during steady cruising. If your engine is running too rich or too lean—or if you notice uneven acceleration—the main discharge check ball might not be sealing or is partially clogged.
Not a problem. Remove the plug and replace with the T. You will need to make a slot to accommodate the T. Using a Dremel tool is best for this.
