I noticed my filter was missing, so I used this one which is correct for my carburetor. It fit right in and seems like it will be fine, someone in the past must have removed it.

This bronze element filter, the filter spring for it, and the filter gasket kit were all essentials to enable a rebuild of the Rochester 2GV carburetor in my 69 Camaro. People should realize that such parts are not easily found, but Mike' Carburetor has those treasured goods. Mike has the carburetor rebuild kits, too. Thank you. The car starts great and has acceleration after the carb rebuild. Could not do without the vintage-needed parts !

What can I say about a filter. They look great. Seem to work so far! Mostly I'd like to comment on customer service which is refreshingly first class.
