Carter AFB & WCFB Carburetor Secondary Diaphragm GD380

Good item. Pretty straight forward piece to replace old diaphragm in spite of having to use old arm. Some skill and common sense necessary but gets the job done. Built in gasket is a plus.

Part fit perfectly and has the carburetor working like new. Fast shipping and reasonable price for a classic part.

These are great pieces; you truly can't restore a Carter WCFB (or AFB) with vacuum secondaries properly without one of these diaphragms.

The picture is a bit miss leading, it’s actually 2 gaskets that have the proper OD and bolt pattern shape with a diaphragm sandwiched in between. Problem was the diaphragm is not the same size and bolt pattern and looks to be glued in between the gaskets. When you install your original metal backing plates the diaphragm changes shape and in my case pulled out of the gaskets. We had to mess with the diaphragm and gaskets while at the same time trying to compress the spring on install. We finally got it in place but more hassle than expected. Have not got it running yet to see if there are any issues.
