TECHNICAL:
apply a couple drops of oil to the cup before installing
do not soak pump
run a blunt object around the inside of the leather cup to break the protective sealer it may have
polish the pump bore with Crocus Cloth before installing pump

Carter Ball on Ball Carb

Awesome that you can still get these replacement parts. My 1948 Desoto will run more smoothly (hopefully) when I get the carb back on this summer. See the video on B on B carbs helped a lot to getting the repair done properly.
