Motorcraft 2100, 2150, 4100 carburetor choke thermostat assembly. Included is a picture of the 2100 choke housing you should have for this to work. There is also a version of choke housing that doesn't use a choke piston. That will work also. The one application that doesn't work is the version that has a spring attached to the inside of the choke housing. The center post where the spring attaches sticks out too far not allowing the thermostat to mount.
New, currently being produced.

Includes an aluminum expansion plug for plugging off the hot air.

Hello! I have a 2100 for a Ford. I have the thermostat that does not use a choke piston. For Part Number:TH1023: my question is, how does this unit work without a choke piston? Thanks!
The electric thermostat does all the movement of the choke. No piston will be necessary.

Electric Choke
Choke works good on my 2100 carb. 66 mustang. Only I had use an extra gasket to make it clear the choke spring turn mechanism on the carb housing.

Motorcraft 2100 Electric Choke
I purchased this electric choke thermostat for my classic truck with a 1970 Mustang 302 engine. I installed it in less than half an hour. I ran a hot wire from my alternator stator connection to the choke and it works more hestitation after startup until the engine warms up, I now start the engine and drive off normally.

Works great!
Super easy to install - Autolite 2100 on a 1969 302 mustang . I ran the wire to the accessory connection on the fuse box by the steering wheel, but might change that to the solenoid since it's closer. The aluminum expansion plug that was included wasn't the right size for my application, but I found a different way to block off the air.

Worked just as I hoped
Used to replace a thermostatic choke on 4 barrel Autolite on a ford 460 in my 69 lincoln continential. Wired to switched 12VDC, heats up and opens as expected. May have to hook to the stator of the alternator for a slower warm up come colder weather. Couldn't be more pleased with the ease of installation. Very fast shipping as well. Thanks!

Mustang electric choke for 2100
Easy to swap over and works a treat. Run the "hot" wire off the brown coloured heater fan wire to the tab on the cap. Nice short run from the carny to the rear of the engine bay.

Converted my '72 F-100 360 FEmotor from hot air choke to 'lectric in 30 minutes using this kit. Fits perfect, no more finicky vacuum actuators, pulloffs, heat risers and all that junk. Wire to a +12V source (coil) for a 90 sec operation, or your alternator's "S" post (stator output of +6V) for a roughly 3 minute duration. The stator hookup only gets power when the engine is spinning, which ensures that your choke coil doesn't warm up when the key is just sitting in the "ON" position before you start it up.

Had problems with old hot air/electric choke on my grand wagoneer. This electric only conversion works great. Starts good when cold, opens all the way when hot, someting my old choke never did.
